Luk 20.41-47;Heb 1.10-14;Pro 19.1-14;Isa 3-5 Analysis: Luk 20 Jesus the Son and the Lord. The scribe & the pharisee receive greater condemnation since they ascribe righteousness but are actually hypocrites. Heb 1 Again, Jesus the nonpareil. He's the creator, yes? The attributes of being eternal are given him. Again, greater than the Angels. Pro 19 Isa 3-5 God is angry at the mistreatment of the poor - and judges Israel for it. Their riches are removed, there freedom replaced by oppression. God promises the Branch. God promises to care for the remnant and to watch over it and be with it. Best Verse(s): Heb 1.10-12 And, “You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; 11 they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment, 12 like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end.” pro 19.1 Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is crooked in speech and is a fool. 2 Desire without knowledge is not good, and whoever makes haste with his feet misses his way. Isa 5.4 What more was there to do for my vineyard,that I have not done in it? When I looked for it to yield grapes, why did it yield wild grapes? Contract/Prayer: God, when I think on you I'm overwhelmed. At the thought of eternity, at the depth of your wisdom, at the promises of refreshing & renewal. Please, Lord, let me see your way today.
