Luk 22.1-13;Heb 4.1-11;Pro 21.1-16;Isa 14-16 Analysis: Luk : Jesus declares his Omniscience here? He predicts beforehand that the disciples will meet a man carrying a water jar. Heb : teaches that we're to look to enter God's rest. That is, his mercy and grace in Christ, and life in the Spirit? Pro 20: Actions are louder than words(vs 3), God observes our ways & will judge (vs 12), strive to be wise consequences of foolishness are deadly(vs. 16) Isa 14-16: God judges pride. Best Verse(s): Heb 4.11 Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. Pro 21.3 To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Isa 14.13,15 13 You said in your heart,‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit. Contract/Prayer: God help me remember my place and purpose.
