BBCBRP ~ July 13th

Luke 10:1 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. So, the command was to his disciples. They were busy doing evangelism & preaching -- but, Jesus wanted them to pray to God for more workers. So, was He was the model? He prayed & then choose the twelve. He'd invested in their lives, sent them out to preach, now, He expected them to pray to God for more workers and repeat the process? 1 Thess3:1 Therefore when we could bear it no longer, we were willing to be left behind at Athens alone, and we sent Timothy, our brother and God's coworker in the gospel of Christ, to establish and exhort you in your faith, that no one be moved by these afflictions. Even in the midst of his troubles / afflictions - Paul's main concern was for the faith of those to whom he'd preached. And, he continues to preach even from his affliction about his affliction.
